The PDF format allows you to share information across formats without the hassle of using a converter or other application. Scanning to a PDF is done through the HP Solution Center, an application that is installed with your HP scanner.

Warning
- If you set your Scan Document Setting to a DPI value lower than 150, you will receive an error and HP Solution Center will close automatically. Re-open the application and change the scan document setting to 150 or higher to resolve the issue.
