You will have to install the latest scanner setup software and the drivers from the manufacturer’s website to configure the scanner. When I checked the manufacturer’s website for this model, I couldn’t find any Windows 8 compatible driver or software. In this case, I would suggest you to download the latest available driver (Windows 7 driver) and software from the manufacturer’s website and install it in compatibility mode.
